Muntham House School P laytimes are an important part of the development of pupils at Muntham House School. Staff members work closely with pupils to ensure they are engaging, happily playing together and learning valuable social skills. There are numerous opportunities for creative and imaginative play which supports healthy child development and increases pupils self-confidence and self-esteem. We encourage everyone to be active and play outside, as the pupils enjoy and flourish in the outdoor environment. In the Infants area there is a purpose built race track with lots of space to enjoy using bikes, trikes and scooters which help to develop co-ordination and the learning of new skills. Playtime is a great opportunity for staff members to work with pupils focusing on social, emotional and communication skills. Staff members are always on hand to support pupils in structuring conversations and developing friendships with one another. Rain or shine Primary is definitely a great fun place to be! PLAYTIME
