We are seeking to appoint a talented, committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This professional needs to be flexible and fully committed to engaging and maximising the achievement for pupils with Special Educational Needs. This post would suit a teacher who currently works in mainstream education and has experience of working with SEN pupils and those already working within a SEN provisions whom are passionate about making a difference for pupils with SEN. All candidates with relevant KS3 and KS4 experience will be considered.

Forest School & Duke of Edinburgh Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to recruit an energetic, active and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work within our Secondary school.  This role will support the Forestry school lessons but will also be significantly involved in our Duke Of Edinburgh award activities, often going hiking and mountain biking as part of off-site residentials.   Candidates should have experience interacting with SEMH and neurodiverse children either through work or organised sports/social activities.  Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate a love of sport and being outdoors, as this role requires both.

We are seeking a Key Worker to join our school community.  Our Key Workers provide a warm, caring environment, which fosters and develops good personal relationships and which meets our residential pupil’s needs for security, reassurance of personal worth, stimulation and affection when away from their home.

Our Key Workers work closely with children, helping them to feel safe, respected, confident and capable of achieving their best. We are seeking applicants who have previously worked as a support worker or in a residential care setting. Prospective candidates should be able to demonstrate a patient, caring, compassionate, child-centred approach.  The successful candidate will have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young children. 

The hours for the position are Monday 3.00pm -10.00pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am-9.30am and 3.00pm to 10.00pm, Friday 7.30am-2.00pm.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role is suitable for newly qualified therapists (Band 5) through to experienced practitioners (Band 6–7), with responsibilities tailored to match your skills and experience.

You will:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver therapy for pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN), including autism, learning difficulties, and developmental language disorder.
  • Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team (teachers, OTs, psychotherapists, and support staff).
  • Provide training, advice, and support to school staff and parents to embed therapy strategies across the curriculum and home life.Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews, and reports.
  • Take part in service development projects and CPD opportunities.

About You

  • A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration
