Muntham House School is a special school that provides both boarding and day provision for boys aged between 5 and 18 years old.
This school specialises in educating pupils with Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.
The school also caters to pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health, and other SEN conditions.
Muntham House School seeks a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to listen and understand and have the ability to overcome obstacles.
Residential Key Workers are responsible for the well-being of boarding pupils in four houses outside of school hours.
They work under the supervision of the Head of Care to ensure that Muntham House School operates in compliance with its policies and procedures.
Duties will involve organising, risk assessing and participating in a wide range of activities with the boarders that stimulate them physically, socially and mentally both indoors and outdoors, utilising our facilities on our 23-acre site and surrounding area.
Your mentoring role and leadership skills will promote and help the boarders with their studies, provide pastoral routine with their bedtimes, personal hygiene and self-presentation and ensure they are stimulated other than by their electronic devices.
You will be required to attend relevant training, scheduled Inset training days and Staff meetings as necessary.
The Residential Key Worker is essential in maintaining continuity and consistency in our boarding provision.
Our commitment is to foster a warm and nurturing community.
