EXCEPTIONAL Environment
Your superpower could be the desire and determination to form supportive relationships with our special children, who are unique and individual on their journey to becoming young people. As an apprentice, you will develop your skills and superpowers on the Level 4 Children Young People and Families Practitioner, Residential Pathways Apprenticeship course.
Our Childcare Nurture Champions are carers and parents for our mid-week residential boys. Your day will be made up of offering breakfast and ensuring the morning routine is finished and they are ready for the start of the school day. Your day will end by facilitating and joining in with age-appropriate activities, preparing and sharing an evening meal and completing the bedtime routine.
You will be a good listener, non-judgemental, understanding that experiences and neurodiversity can influence behaviours, self-motivated, energetic and resilient! On top of this, you will have the determination and commitment to complete your apprenticeship and achieve full Childcare Nurture Champion status!
In return, we offer a beautiful environment to work in, with excellent facilities in a school that is heavily invested in offering the boys the most amazing opportunities and experiences. As well as a mentor, study time, continuous professional development and career opportunities. Muntham is where lifetime memories are created.
Aside from generous remuneration, the benefits are healthcare, pension, holiday and training, which are the reward of seeing the difference you can and will make to the boys at Muntham House School.
